Sound Technicians are responsible for operating and maintaining the sound systems in various entertainment venues and activities; assisting with the positioning and strike of all audio-related equipment, and coordinating with performers to learn about their requirements. They work with the Head Sound and Light Technician to maintain inventory of equipment and consumables, resolve problems and issues, and update documentation related to audio. Previous experience in live sound reinforcement and musical theatre; proficiency in the operation of analog consoles, digital mixers, and recording devices; and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on multiple types of audio gear are preferred for this position. Contract lengths are 6 months & 3 weeks continuous employment followed by a 6-8 week work break on completion of contract. Hiring requirements:
