Job Details

The Rigging Staff assist the Rigging Specialists in the positioning and operation of production and entertainment programs, the maintenance and weekly inspections of all rigging systems, and in troubleshooting and repairing all related equipment. They work with the entertainer flying systems, silks, props, and harness equipment. Applicants with working knowledge of theatrical rigging, maintenance, and inspections are preferred. Contract lengths are 6 months & 3 weeks continuous employment followed by a 6-8 week work break on completion of contract.

Hiring requirements:

• Two years professional theatre experience working with automated flying shows
• Basic moving light, sound and pyrotechnics experience preferred
• Successful completion of Foy operator basic training (can be organized by the company)
• Riggers assigned to the aqua Théâtre will be required to complete the PADI open water dive certification for the purpose of supporting maintenance
