He/she must be a skilled worker and be able to carry out all kinds of maintenance and repair work. Under the direction of the Engineer Watch Officer (EWO) and 3rd Engineer in-charge of the watch in the machinery space, Motorman shall be responsible for the inspection, operation and testing, as required, of all machinery and equipment under his responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position.
  • Two (2) years' experience as a Motor person or similar rank on a cruise vessel.
  • Rating forming part of an Engineering Watch Certificate.
