JOB DESCRIPTION

Lifeguards ensure continuous and dedicated supervision of aquatic areas, enforce pool rules professionally, and respond immediately to emergencies with trained care. They are responsible for reducing pool deck hazards, attending monthly training, and ensuring that supplies and equipment are checked before daily operations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed, and all responsibilities must adhere to the company's safety, quality, and environmental standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain constant and dedicated supervision of aquatic recreation areas.
• Responding immediately and appropriately, as trained, in the event of an emergency. Administer first aid, CPR, Oxygen and AED as appropriate in an emergency.
• Reporting and following up with any hazards, helping to reduce accidents and injuries around the aquatic recreational areas.
• Required to stand and walk at specific zones and designated aquatic areas in all types of weather.
• Set-up and verify that supplies and equipment are available during operating hours; maintain and advise Manager/Supervisor of rectifications as needed.
• Attend emergency duties/drills as assigned in the ships Emergency Management Safety Plan.

REQUIREMENTS

• GRADE 12
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Lifeguard Qualification
