Job Details

Under the guidance of the Chief Engineer and Staff Engineer our Engine Cadets are expected to apply practically the knowledge gained at nautical college, developing their understanding of the overall operation of the vessel. Our Engine Cadets require the ability to participate and assist in engine watches under the supervision of the on duty Engineer to learn watch keeping requirements, monitoring of the operation of the main and auxiliary engines and equipment within the Engine Room.

Potential candidates must have completed a Maritime Engineering program or be currently enrolled in an accredited Maritime Engineering program. Candidates must hold valid STCW95 certification and appropriate certification as required by regulations. Excellent fluent verbal, written and technical English is essential.
