- Consistently maintain STCW and/or any other required certifications as described in the training matrix
- Cleaning and maintaining the outer deck area and pool area ensures that all trash, used glasses, used crockery and cutlery are removed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Laying out, cleaning and storing of deck furniture before and after service hours.
- Maintains and supply of clean towels to the pool areas ensuring used towels are removed and delivered to the Laundry in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with the deep cleaning program for all deck furniture.
- Advises Pool Service Supervisor of any Sailor complaints and where possible tries to resolve
- Any ad hoc duties as required by the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Pool Service Supervisor.
- Partakes in inspections, trainings and meetings as required by Head of Department.
- Ensures that the set standards are kept and staff members work according to their respective job descriptions.
- Other duties as assigned.
