Your role involves enforcing and upholding safety management systems to protect both crew and passengers, fostering a culture of safety and accountability. In collaboration with the Chief Officer and other departments, you will ensure seamless operations, contributing to a unified and professional onboard environment. Additionally, your expertise in operating and maintaining deck equipment will play a critical role in the vessel's smooth and efficient operation. Your Journey So FarWe are looking for someone who have : Experience Matters: Proven track record as a Bosun or in a senior deck role, preferably on a cruise ship or similar large vessel. Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with various deck equipment, maintenance protocols, and maritime operations. Certifications: Advanced Safety Training and relevant maritime qualifications are a must. Safety Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and adherence to international maritime safety standards. Global Exposure: Previous experience in multi-national crew environments is an advantage, showcasing your adaptability and cultural understanding.
